Class Descriptions
Flow Yoga
Flow Yoga is a more vigorous practice in which we connect breath with mindful movement. Class includes sun salutations, strength and balance poses, more challenging sequences, and an opportunity to try more advanced postures (options for modifications provided). Class ends with guided relaxation.
Chair Yoga
This class is great for beginners and for those who want a gentler practice for their joints before moving to a floor practice. We sit in a chair for seated stretches and then stand to use the chair for standing strength poses and balance work. Not your everyday chair class, expect a playful practice and to have fun! Class ends with guided relaxation.
Gentle Yoga
This class is great for beginners and for those who prefer a gentler practice. We focus on building strength, balance, and mobility in our bodies while also tuning into the relaxing effects of the breath and mindful movement. Students should be comfortable getting up and down from the floor. Class ends with guided relaxation.
These yoga classes and workshops are not conducive to personal care of a therapeutic nature, and do not constitute yoga therapy. Therefore, all students must take precautions with their own body and do only what feels comfortable and within their current capacity.
